LaPorte County GIS Implementation

Description: The Polis Center assisted LaPorte County, Michigan City, and the City of LaPorte to evaluate GIS program requirements. Polis provided a technical solution that began with the delivery of a needs assessment report and implementation plan to support a county-wide GIS. Based on the Implementation Plan, Polis prepared Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications for the development of the orthophotography, photogrammetric landbase, and digital property plat database.
