Multiple Listing Service Data Integration and GIS Outreach

Description: Polis is working with the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors (MIBOR), a trade association of 5,500 real estate professionals throughout central Indiana to enhance features to its new Internet-based Multiple Listing Service, or MLS. Polis provides outreach to local governments in fourteen Central Indiana Counties and facilitates the collection and assimilation of various layers of local GIS and appraisal data for parcels, fire hydrants, roads, aerial photography, subdivision boundaries and flood plain boundaries. Polis also provides data on locations of public services like libraries, schools, hospitals, human service agencies, places of worship, licensed daycare centers, and homes in relationship to the location of desired properties.
