Strategic and Data Needs Assessment for a Community Information System (CIS) in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Description:

Community Research Institute in the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University is in the process of developing a Community Information System in Grand Rapids. As developer of the nation’s largest CIS called SAVI (www.savi.org), The Polis Center conducted a strategic and data needs assessment with several key stakeholders during a 2-day site visit in Grand Rapids to assess needs, opportunities, and barriers to developing a CIS.
