GIS Applications for Pediatric Leukemia Treatment Adherence Research

Description: Riley Hospital for Children hired The Polis Center to provie GIS and data support for research on pediatric leukemia treatment adherence and the relationship with socioeconmic indicators. The primary purpose of Polis' involvement is to develop and provide data regarding the socioeconomic conditions of the neighborhoods in which the participants live. This information will then be used to perform statistical testing for correlation between socioeconomic indicators and leukemia re-occurrence.
