City-Wide GIS Requirements Analysis and Implementation Assistance

Description: The City of West Lafayette, Indiana Wastewater Utility Department developed a GIS in 1977. Additionally Tippecanoe County, Purdue University, and The City of Lafayette have implemented GIS initiatives. Polis worked with West Lafayette to evaluate these existing spatial data and systems, document the city’s GIS project objectives, and advised the City of West Lafayette how to move from the beginning point to the ending point. Polis conducted interviews with staff and developed a Project Definition Report to support a city-wide GIS implementation.
