Jeffery Duvall is a research associate. A doctoral candidate in history at Purdue University, he specializes in 19th and 20th century U.S. social history with an emphasis on the family, kinship, class, and rural history. His current work is focused on tobacco culture in the Ohio River Valley. He contributed to the Encyclopedia of Indianapolis and worked on the Project on Religion and Urban Culture.
